get to know me


Hi, I am Hannah Pappas.


I am an award winning photographer based out in Southwest Missouri but I am always down to make a trip (literally ANYWHERE). I am independent, self loving, and adventurous. All my life I can pretty much remember wanting to pick up a camera at any point and wanting to take photos, so I guess you could say I was born to capture amazing stories.


I am a Graduate from Pittsburg State University with a major in Graphic Communications and an emphasis in Graphic Design and Digital Media. My technology degree has helped strengthen my technical side of photography and my ambition to put myself out there is all self induced. I have always enjoyed picking up the camera and capturing literally anything and everything with it. I have been professionally known for a couple of years and I continue to make strides in my photography each and every day.


I'm a freelancer by the weekends and a full time Multimedia Production artist at a commercial light manufacturer during the week. Everything I do at my full time job allows me to further strengthen everything I do as a freelancer photographer.

Fun facts about me


  1. I love marvel movies (I love you 3000)!
  2. I have 19 tattoos and 7 piercings. Always continuing to get more.
  3. Chinese food is my favorite type of food. Getting Chinese takeout is a must for when I am editing photos!
  4. I absolutely love hiking. If your session is on a hiking trail, I will so appreciate you!
  5. My middle name is Marie. When it came to choosing a brand name I really didn't feel like putting my whole name and I wanted something that people could genuinely know me for. h. marie will always be a brand I continue to grow overtime.
  6. I have watched the Twilight Saga an unhealthy amount of times.

My mission


I believe in making time stand still in photographs. When I capture my subjects, I want to make people feel important, like they are the main character in a movie.
